Races - General Information

Races Permitted
Dwarf: Mechanics as PHB. There is one type of Dwarf which are much like Hill Dwarves.
Elf: Please refer to the “Elves” wiki for details.
Gnome: As PHB.
Half-Elf: Mainly the result of a Human pairing with a High Elf, but other Elven blood is possible.
Half-Orc: Detailed in there own wiki.
Halfling: As PHB, but no various “types.” See Halfling wiki.
Human: As PHB. They can vary slightly in exotic locations, but it’s mainly a matter of appearance. There are some house rules regarding Humans, detailed in a separate wiki.
Any other races require advanced DM approval.

Race/Class Combinations and Rules
1. I do not use level limits based on race.
2. All classes in the 2E Players Handbook are allowed. Any other classes require advanced DM approval.
3. All kits require DM approval.
4. All races can multi-class. Only Humans may Dual-Class. The following core race/class combinations are allowed (the term “Mage” does not include Specialist Wizards);
Dwarf – Fighter, Ranger, Cleric, Thief. May multi-class Fighter/Cleric, Fighter/Thief, or Cleric/Thief.
Elf – Options vary by racial branch. See “Elves” wiki for more.
Gnome – Fighter, Ranger, Specialist Wizard, Cleric, Thief, Bard. May combine any two allowed classes as a multi-class, except for Ranger.
Half-Elf – Fighter, Ranger, Mage, Specialist Wizard, Cleric, Druid, Thief, Bard. May multi-class Fighter/Mage, Fighter/Cleric, Fighter/Thief, Mage/Cleric, Mage/Thief, or Cleric/Thief.
Half-Orc – Fighter, Ranger, Cleric, Thief. May multi-class Fighter/Cleric, Fighter/Thief, or Cleric/Thief.
Halfling – Fighter, Ranger, Mage, Cleric, Thief, Bard. May multi-class Fighter/Cleric or Fighter/Thief.
Human – Fighter, Ranger, Paladin, Mage, Specialist Wizard, Cleric, Druid, Thief, Bard. Multi-class possibilities are the same as Half-Elf.
